Week 9: Wizer.me

I struggle with worksheets. I don't love to use them because I'm not sure they really are reflective of authentic learning. I prefer more project and inquiry based learning. HOWEVER, there are times that you need something to see where there are gaps. And who said worksheets have to be rote and only a time filler?
Wizer.me is a tool that helps you create interactive worksheets. You can use templates or create your own and assign them right in Google Classroom.

Thee platform is easy to navigate and in many ways is similar to Canva, so the process of designing feels familiar. You can filter by grade level, language, and subject area. I like that these are more interactive. It is easy to create a sorting list and I could see using that as a whole group lesson on the SMART Board.
I'm not sure I will use this resource a ton, but it is free (though there are more options with a paid subscription) and sometimes you just need a worksheet!
